I just finished reading the third book in the series, and have put the fourth book on hold at the library.
A friend in my ward recommended these books because both her and her daughter loved them. I too enjoyed them, though it was much different then what I thought it would be.
It's about life a couple hundred years from now, where at the age of 16 everyone undergoes cosmetic surgery to make them beautiful. It centers around one character in particular, Tally.
It poses many different points about what society considers "beautiful."
